Short Sales
I'm a Certified Short Sale Specialist™ and a Certified Pre-Foreclosure Specialist™ in California and have successfully completed many of these transactions for both buyers and sellers in our current economy.

Loan Modifications
The Obama Administration's loan modification program, known as the "Making Home Affordable Refinance Program," is designed to help homeowners who currently have Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac loans, and who are current on their mortgage payments, to refinance and take advantage of today's lower interest rates.  The plan allows Fannie and Freddie to refinance qualified homeowners up to a 105% loan-to-value (LTV) of the current value of the home.  The program begins March 4, 2009, and ends in June of 2010.

Veteran Administration Help for Veterans
As a result of the Veterans' Benefits Home Improvement Act of 2008, signed into law by President Bush in October 2008, the VA, which never did guarantee sub-prime loans, can now assist veterans refinance into a safer, more affordable, VA-guaranteed loan.  Veterans in distress due to high-interest sub-prime mortgages are potentially the greatest beneficiaries.
